NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that for the General Municipal Election to be held in the City of Dixon on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2026, the following offices are to be elected:

Elected City Clerk (elected at-large representing the entire City): Full Term of Four Years

City Councilmember, District 1: Full Term of Four Years

City Councilmember, District 2: Full Term of Four Years

Nomination papers may be obtained and returned at City Hall, 600 East A Street, Dixon, California. The nomination period for these offices begins on July 13, 2026 and closes on August 10, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. If an incumbent officer of the City does not file nomination papers by August 10, 2026, the voters will have until August 12, 2026 to nominate other candidates for that incumbent’s elective office.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old, reside and be registered to vote within the City of Dixon. Candidates running for City Council must also reside within the District for which they are running.

Filing of nomination papers shall occur by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Appointments can be scheduled by calling (707) 678-7000 or by email at cityclerk@cityofdixonca.gov. The hours of operation for the City Clerk’s Office are 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday – Thursday; 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., every other Friday.
