The Engineering department launched an online permit software, EPL by Tyler, on Monday, September 16, 2024, and is excited to announce that all Engineering-related permits are processed and paid for online. Additionally, payments can still be made in person or by mail. *

AB 1600 (Development Impact Fees)
Note: Fees must be received prior to approval of any permit, including transportation permits. The department accepts checks by mail or in person* at 171 S. 5th Street, Dixon, CA 95620. Exact cash or credit card payments are only accepted in person* at this time.

Moratorium Streets – Excavations in newly paved or re-surfaced streets are at the discretion of the City Engineer as outlined in City Ordinance 20-014O. An approved street-cut moratorium waiver is required prior to the issuance of an encroachment permit. See links below for additional information.
