You may also City Hall, located at 600 East A Street, to fill out an application and submit your payment. If you have questions about a reservation or facility availability please email cityhall@cityofdixon.us.
Liability Insurance naming the City of Dixon as additionally insured is required for all field rentals and facility rentals. Picnic area rentals that will include a bounce house, water access, pony rides, petting zoos, or dog events also requires Liability Insurance naming the City of Dixon as additionally insured. The City of Dixon reserves the right to require any insurance for rental of any City facility depending upon event, activity, or facility being used.
Security personnel may be required depending upon the number of attendees at your event/rental and if alcohol is being sold or consumed. SMUC is the only city-owned facility where alcohol is permitted.

Pardi Plaza
The Plaza is intended for public use only. No private or ticketed events are permitted. A special event permit is required in addition to the Pardi Plaza Application and rental fee. Fees are due at least 30 days in advance of an event.
Pardi Plaza Application & Use Policy
A Special Event is defined as any assembly of persons of fifty (50) people or more on city property or right-of-way; or an event that obstructs the normal flow of pedestrian or vehicular traffic; or is a hazard to the public peace, health, safety or general welfare of the community.
Applications must be complete and include all attachments. The due dates are as follows:
Any application submitted after the deadline is subject to denial based on lack of adequate time for approval. Any application that does not provide the minimum items required in each section is incomplete and the review may not be completed within the needed time for approval.

ABC event and daily licenses are processed through the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. The Dixon Police Department reviews applications. The event host is responsible for completing all forms and submitting to ABC. If you are hosting an event on public or private property that requires an ABC Daily License and law enforcement approval, please apply online 30 days in advance.
Events on private commercial property may require a Temporary Use Permit (TUP). Applications must be submitted 45 days in advance.

The City considers co-sponsored events annually. Request forms must be emailed to dixonrecreation@cityofdixonca.gov by December 1 for events occurring March 1-February 28. Events are typically considered for approval by City Council in February.
